This is part of my first color theory project~
We had to do something with harmony and discordant colors, and we pretty much had free range. People have made lamps, cushions, desks, animations, films, photos, concept art, blahblahblah.
I decided to create three character designs and one sorta illustration, and this is the illustration. If you'd like I can upload the designs tomorrow? o-o

When I draw forests I just draw, you know, trees. This has alot more realism. The colours are perfect. I'd personally love to see the other drawings too!

I'm not sure if it's realistic. XD Thank you though! c:

Wonderful illustration! Looking forward to seeing your other designs.

I find it interesting that schools are teaching color theory as a discipline of its own. When I was at University, you didn't hear the term 'color theory' used very often, but it was taught as part of the different fine arts courses. (course, that was over 30 years ago...)

Yeah, it is an art school though, so I suppose it would have more classes than most? o-o

Depends on the major. I got my degrees in Fine Art (associate), Education (minored), and Media Arts (bachelor's). Several courses taught different aspects of color theory as it applied to their subjects. For example: Physics in the arts dealt more with colors from additive light rather than colors from reflected light.

Yeah, just sort of a science of color complete with names and categories. I should definately utilize it. Maybe that can help my coloring.
